Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't large bombers have a bombing sight that the bomber would look into to see where and when to drop the bombs. It would be really cool if that could be implemented into FH.

yes they did, they were used by the naviagtor (the guy in the glass nose). the pilot would turn over the controls to the bombadier/navigator for him to release the bombs. they could not work in fh, no one would use them. besides, they relied on the fact that you were at a certain speed and altitude (which could be changed), so this wouldnt work very well

Other nations had their own bombsights. Americans had the Norden bombsight whch was in WW2 a classified secret.

There have been requests for a bombsight and bombadier for awhile now.

no im talkin like press F9 and you get a little picture of what's underneath you if youre the pilot, not a whole different position in the plane. Everyone knows nobody uses teamwork in FH

i shoulda been more clear when i started the thread. But the way it is now with the heavy bombers you play more of a guessing game when bombing.

I would like to see the nose gunner of the B-17 get the bomb scope, maybe use the alt fire button?

I have seen guys do some very impressive bombing from a B-17 but al that metal tends to draw alot of flak too.

Yeah it's really hard to do real high elevation bomb runs.

Some sort of bomb sight would be a real improvment in all the bombers except the dive bombers (they are already deadly enough)

I don't think the F9 nose cam can shift the viewpoint at all (angle or position) Why don't you take a cue from the UH-60 from DC and let primary fire (hold) rotate your view downward to a likely bombsight solution?
