Could the airfield's "ammo-giving-sensitivity" (:p) be fixed, almost everytime I try to get ammo for my Typhoon, it ends up giving only 2 rockets or so, even if I fly so close to the ground, that the bottom of the plane scratches the ground

Sorry, forgot to add that I fly relatively slow too, the ammo icon blinks while trying to get ammo, instead of being present continuously, resulting not getting the full load :)

Yes, it's a bit tricky. But I got used to it after a while.

You need to fly slow and low along the runway and preferably for its whole lenght to get fully reloaded. It's good the way it is, mid-air non-stop reloading shouldn't be easy... ;)

Yea, it's a bugger to reload on. You need to fly so slow you nearly stall. That's fine, but IMO the worst thing about it is it's position. If you do a slow fly-over West to East, you shoot right into the OOB area after reloading. You're going so slow you're almost stalling, and trying as hard as you can to turn back into the map before you start taking damage.

I've never liked bases or airfields that are snugged right up against the OOB boundry line.

in my opinion you should have to land to get ammo reloaded instead of flying low.

Typhoon is not a problem, but rearming wildcat hellcat or corsair(not the bombs the 0.50cal's)is a big pain in the ass, with a single slow and succesfull pass over airfield or carrier u cant even get 100 bullets but 80 or something like that that means to fully rearm your plane u must spare 5-6 minutes with several passes. But say in bf109,bf 110 zero etc. u can fully rearn in 2 passes.

You need to practice more. Reloading is quite easy if you learn the right way to do it, and you can fully reload in one pass and even pull up in time to avoid the C-47s and the restricted area.
