Ok, I got 2 general ideas on how protection can be added for our infantry boys, all in the form of bunkers. Currently we have the bomb creater, sandbags, chicken wire, and some other static things that dont really help. I like how the left wing of Omaha is made. Those MG34 bunkers, nice. But not original, feels vannila (its just because of how the MG is placed on the Bunker). Theres also nice foxholes on that Finland map (forgot its name). But like I said, I got 2 ideas so hey.. Here they are. 1. Lowrise MG foxhole bunker: Basically my idea behind this is you get a foxhole, you cover it up with sticks, raise it up where you wish to place the locked MG, put in an enterance. Voila, you got youself a bunker to spice up those boring Japanese maps. Hell, place it anywhere for anyone whose playing defence. 2. Lowrise 88, Rommel Style: Defence for the brave. Make a ditch and sorround and top with with 2 or 3 layers of sandbags, place 88 in the middle, just high enough that at a 90* angle, the gun touches the sandbag. Cover it with camo too. Anyone else got any ideas?

Check out Iwo Jima and the Finnish map is Karelia, imo one of the best FH maps (as long as a noob won't hand over the IS2).

How about tank trenches too. Like in the DC map 73 Eastings. That way you can get your tank into a position so that only your turret is showing making you much less of a target.

Personally I think we need more static buildings.. lot's of them. The Vanilla ones are getting so darned old.. I could model billions myself offcourse, but I can't skin them. So..

Yep, we need more static buildings. More are coming in .62 though, so we'll have to see how many. I like the 88 idea a lot, right now it is way too exposed.

He has? Cool. I was about to make a thread a thread suggesting OpOv and FH to join forces, but was afraid to get my ass flamed.
