that thin mantle of metal means that more often than not shots, no matter how large a calibre, will just puncture the metal skin and carry on.
I took a Val out on wake witha 5 inch. I also knocked off some plane or other in tarawa witha 5 inch. But i DO think that the JU 52 is too difficult to kill or something because I have hit that one with tanks or riddled it with an entire load of ammo from a staghound and it never got dented or one engine began to smoke.

Yeah but the one ingame in real would have so much holes that you would break through the bottom if your were standing inside it.
haha, sounds like my dads first car
Arisakathe same thing can happen in BF2, but i've had more luck with bf2, when it comes to ping, and i also think that BF2 manages the hit detection somewhat faster than '42, so you don't have to aim that far ahead.
Bah, its not even enough to notice though. It dosn't get NEARLY as basd as BF1942 does. Its improved by 100x. As far as most people can tel lthe netcode is perfect. Hehe, truthfull one of the MAIN reasons I want FH2 is because I wan't FH with better netcode. BF2 has PERFECT netcode. No retarted leasding by like 2 meters.....on seeing 20 bloodpuffs come out but only 1 registered hit....
i took out a grasshopper with a arisaka :D
