I have to agree with Burdy on the Destroyer thing, because right now Germans always win the map with those damn neuble-waffles (spelt wrong intentionally) and beach campers. Give the allies a tank landing craft that would spawn next to the destroyer. :D

Ranger units had snipers, Rangers were only at Dog Green and Pointe du Hoc.

Precicsley ! There were no Snipers on Omaha Beach, except for a very small amount that came along with the Rangers and other Elite units. But back to actual discussion. I played Carlie Sector latley and got hold of the Allied Sniper Kit... A few moments later, nobody dared man an MG position, because their life expectancy was about 5 sec. if they dared to fire it. And I think you can all imagine what Charlie Sector is like without MGs. Obviously the Axis Snipers wern´t very good, but even if they did get me I´d just get back my rifle and contiuned the frag-fest. It was fun for me, at least for a while, but it ruined the experiance for everybody else. So, please, remove all Sniper kits (especially the Allied, and since without an Allied Sniper, the Axis Snipers arn´t needed either) and therefor make Charlie Sector an even more fun map for the vast majority of players (all except the Sniperkit Campers).

'-=[G.o.D.=-Dezibel']this frickin beach camping is one thing that really pisses me off. not only that it is pretty clos to spawncamping it is frustrating for both teams. The allies that run into germans at the beach (which is of course completely unrealistic...) and the guys at the mg42s that shoot everything that makes a move at the beach and get minus score for TKing these suckers. If i kill one of these idiots just headin down to the beach for a garand or even camping i´m not going to say sorry anymore...best thing is, you tell´em (even if you are on axis team....) to get off the beach, and they just don´t even react to it!

Well, my personal solution: If I see a team smacktard on the beach I first tell him to get off the beach. If he does not (because he belongs to the species never reading the messages) I start shooting left and right of him without hurting him. This normally makes this camper stand up and run away (because he thinks he is under enemy fire...). When he is not prone anymore, it will not last long until he is really under enemy fire ;) . This might be a forced friendly loss but it is not TK in my opinion. And next time he may not get to the beach :) . What do you think? ...

First of all... I play as Allied soldier ever. In my opinion, the allied sniper kid needs to be in this map. I've been killed by MGs, K98, artillery, granades etc hundred of times running across the beach or firing the boat's machinegun while an allied sniper was in the map, and it didn't save me :) Allies and Germans had sniper rifles, and I think it's enough reason to have snipers kit in this map. One kit for the allies are enough, more will reduce the balance. Omaha beach was a hell to allied troops, so I suppose we have to be killed a lot during a round :) About tanks and ships I think they are needed, but it'll be nice if ships can't be too close of the beach, and I suppose more than one ship will reduce the balance of the map. And german artillery would have to be able to destroy the tanks or the ship too. This map have to be a "place to die" for most of the allies (I remember you I EVER play as an allied soldier) 'till they capture the bunkers. Allies, we've to be in disadvantage in this beach maps ;)
