what about making spawn positions class related? for example let the pilots spawn at the planes/the airfield automaticly, the tankers at the tanks and the infantery at the trucks or at the front! Could that be implemented at least on main bases??????? i think that wouldmake games alot faster and more organized!feedback.gif

yep, interesting, i hate it when i spawn at the other end of the base as a tanker, miles away from the tanks... and when i finally get to the tanks spawns, there's no tank left. But it can be quite vicious and dangerous, for example if all AT guys spawn at the same location, tankers will only need to check that area out if they don't want to be surprised by an ATer.

well it could be used on mains only and these could be protected with a "basecamper shield", an area where no enemy can get into (see it on otolikos maps!) also the spawns for the tanks could still be spread a little, maybe with using a radius around the tank, so they should have a chance! anyway you can put the tanks outside of a big house and the spawn for the tankers inside, so they should really have a chance! anyway noone can know all the diffrent spawnpoints on all maps...

oh, oho, yes, indeed, that sounds very interesting (i hate it when some MG gunner spawns next to the tank i'm heading to and grabs it in front of my nose...)

Hmm if it will be possible to let people spawn on a locatins depending on their class they should be allowed to also spawn somewere else in base if their "default" spawnpoint is under fire. Make it so if you don't click "start at an other point near your prefered flag" you spawn to whatever the mapper assigned your spawning to. Or just show all the spawn points tied to a certain flag AFTER you selected a flag to spawn, that way you can simply chose were to spawn, most of the times this would be close to "your type" of vehicles or somewere else if you think that is better or saver.

Interesting idea, but you are assuming that there will be a "pilot" class in the spawn menu to begin with... We know that devs are planning to keep pick-up classes, and i bet "pilot" class is going to remain a "pick-up" class. So, if that is the case, then you actually can't spawn as a pilot, and hence the idea will not work. And imagine if they actually make a pilot class selectable from the main menu and place them at the airfield. Half the freaking team will be standing at the airfield with nothing more then a pistol. That's of course assuming there are no class-limits (which i am strongly against). But if there are class-limits, then we get a plethora of other problems (which is a totally different discussion). So, untill we know how the devs will implement the "pilot class", discussing this point is impossible

Now I'm slightly kidding here, but why should we make it EASIER for plane campers to camp planes? Man, I hate plane and helicopter campers. They rarely help win a game.

bgood.gif since if they want to plane-camp 24/7, now they have an excuse. I say leave it as-is, but find some way to give people who don't have the pilot kit another disadvantage. This same principle could also be used for tank commanders. Maybe, larger turning radius for planes, and slower turret rotation for tanks? I'm really not sure, so if anyone might come up with a better idea, have at it.
