in FH2 i would love to see some trees people can actually climb and sinpe people from (especually the trees in the pacific theater because the japanese snipers loved to hide in trees) a good way to do this i thought is maybe code it so viens on the trees or other things on the trees act as ladders that lead to a hidden platfrom of somekind in the tree.
agreed! it would be really awesome to have the ability to climb trees!!
This reminds me so much of that South Park where the Simpson's did it!
o i had no idea that FH already had this lol. maybe FH2 can have more trees like that plz. well nvm about the idea then.
Actually, FH1's tree idea is a tree in an open area (So everyone sees you in it), with an honest-to-God ladder! and a scafolding for the person, to stand, crouch or prone...What I want in FH2 is a tree vehicle. There weren't that many tanks in the Pacfic and jeeps and trucks shouldn't have free range to travel so logistically, I'm expecting this new vehicle to be more an asset and less of a weight on the vehicle limit. For every theatre, the strategy changes, right. So in the Pacific the gameplay woudn't be tank battles, or havy troop movement, but the ability to gaurd your buddies from the hidden enemies, ambushes and sometimes direct close melee combat. The tree vehicle is simple: A tree with lot of braches and folliage so that the person in it would be invisible at long range, may be of various breeds of trees, is Locked to Allies so that Americans cannot climb it. How does one know it exists? look for the stationary vehicle icon on the minimap, get closed, press E... The sniper then finds himself prone or crouched in the branchs and can use all his gear, be it LMG, rifle, pistol or binoculars. He wants out, press E, and he's on the ground. As a vehicle, maybe this can also be destroyed by tank fire, flame thrower or arty shell..Whether it explodes, burns down or simply drops when it is destroyed is left to the good imagination of our favourite dev team ;)
now thats a good idea :)
I remember finding a climable palm and observation tower on Guadalcanal, and I was actually quite annoyed that there was a ladder sitting there in front of me that did nothing. I'm all for it, whatever way it's in.
