Ping_PongYea, it might also reduced to amount of TK's that take place in a night map also because now you can tell who is firing at you, Friend or Foe.

yea that was usually the case in eod, but then, like in the war, the 20 round (even though it was really 18) magazine of the m16 didnt compare to the vietnamese rifles, so it stopped being red vs green but green vs green.

tracers are an MG only kinda thing.

That's not entirely true, I've heard of tracers being used in rifles. I'll see if I can find a quote on the internet.

Oh, and I like the idea of colored tracers.

Russkies used Green, pretty much everyone else used mixes of Red and Yellow. Tracers were also every fifth bullet except on very special occasions, such as SAS Jeeps. SAS Jeeps had twin Vickers K MGs loaded with tracers so that they would do extra damage to planes.

Who_Flung_Poo?Would be cool on a night map seein all the colors flying through the sky.

i think russians used all sorts of colors like green red etc.
