Since the devs are working on comander deployed minefields (at least as far as I have read they are working on this) I have a suggestion for something else that would be a nice addition as well though it is hinged on if there will be actual flying gliders in the game. Comander deployed poles 'Rommels asparagus' would be a nice addition if we do get gliders & mabey a few tank traps thrown in. A for real working cointet device, otherwise known as belgium gates, if at all possible would be the shiznit. I know there are some on FH now but I mean actualy having them linked together & able to slide on the ground when pushed by a vehicle. Would be a nice roadblock to place somewhere where you didnt want someone flanking you with armor or at least slow them down & make a hell of a lot of racket removing them thereby alerting some observant peep to the problem.

Obstacles like the 'Rommels asparagus' would not be constructed during battle. I say just build them into the map and keep them fixed. Same with road blocks I think, but maybe make them destrctable so engineers can clear the way for tanks and vehicles.

Mine fields are not laid in the middle of a battle either. This would be placed at the start of the map by the comander like the mine fields if they can get those to work if they already havent done so by now or given up on the idea. The whole idea is to make things a bit different every time the map is played.

That's not true.

We have minefields, the mapper can place them in the map, but the commander will place nothing, we don't want to open a worms can

But that is what it is. Besides, there is nothing wrong with a little constructive critiscism. I mean that's how an ESL student will learn our colloquialisms(hope that's spelled correctly) otherwise they'd end up saying something funny, like a worms can.
