I suggest that a commander ability in FH2, for the Japanese side of the Pacific theater, is to be able to rearm a vehicle for Kamikaze use (for maps only where kamikazes were actually used.)

Commander could rearm imo the following vehicles: PT boats Submarines (well, only if we get midget ones...) Most airplanes

Commander however would have a limit on how many he could change, so as he doesn't go suicide crazy and change every freaking airplane into a kamikaze vehicle.

There would also be a ticket penalty for doing this for the Japanese side.

This could be used in conjunction with the "Kamikaze Air Strike" and "Banzai Rush" commander abilities others have suggested.

Thoughts?

FuzzyBunny had a thread on this a while ago: http://forums.filefront.com/fh2-suggestions/277027-robot-banzai-charge-1111-a.html It basically was like the bomber kits except instead of a long range bomber, a line of bots with swords, SMG's, and suicide bombs started charging where you told them, killing everything in their way and would keep going till they died (which would not be that far, bots are a little stupid).

http://forums.filefront.com/fh2-suggestions/277027-robot-banzai-charge-1111-a.html is good.. but ... u can call a CHARGEEE!!!

look the morale of the team is high and th commnader say on the radio CHARGEEE

like FH1 american side... the americans say CHAAARGE!!

is funny...

back on fh2 the idea is assault positions , bunker and enemy troops whyt a bayonet , knife and all of that...

Guys, this is NOT the same as Fuzzy's Banzai charge idea. Please reread my first post.

Hardly, the Project reality commander can deploy spawnpoints, and set up an entire base with command bunkers, sandbags and razor wire. Of course.. if the grunts build it with their shovels.

Ah, but those are not accessed by pressing caps lock and clicking - are they not done using the T menu and deploying things - like the squad leader can place rally points.

I think so, but what else is a FH2 commander going to do? Stare at a static map all game? They can walk around and do stuff, like the PR ones.

Yeah and it would make more sense for him to be in the field for these kind of abilities (vehicle spawn ones). There are no satellites here. Also in PR the Commander can deploy Support Trucks, in which you can spawn, drive and re-arm. So it's definitely possible for a Commander to deploy Kamikaze vehicles in FH2 :naughty:.

Someone should look @ MY idea for the Banzai charge... Basically it works as easily as using the charge order. Press Q, focus on a point, select CHARGE. If you are a soldier, hope that your buddies would cooperate, if you are a squad captain, your squad team would enjoy an increased dash distance and automatically yell if they dashed, for bots in your squad they'll charge without question, for commanders, the whole army would enjoy the dash distance increase as well as the yell. And I'm sure THAT is possible... Just haven't got a dev to say squat about it yet and I really think its a brilliant idea..
