I have SBC DSL, i'm paying $29(US) for a 386Kb - 1.5Mb connection. I download at 1.2Mb, and upload at 128Kb.

If anyone has cox, compare.

I currently have Cox High Speed. It is fast and stuff. I get with Cox Digital Cable and Cox Telephone for some sort of discount, which is what i did.

Uh....transfer rates with Cable are generally LESS stable. In my experience, DSL is more stable (When has your phone ever been down?!), but yes, there is the dreaded low upstream.

my transfer rates on cox high speed are 110 mbps. I pay $35 a month for it.Dsl is a 10 mbps system and it is more expensive.Cox is a digital cable internet service, the transfer rates on normal cable internet are 40 mbps. You aint gonna get that damn fast with dsl. Bottom line is that cox is 10x faster and cheaper, so cox all the way.
