Ok just to see whether I should keep the German's chutes open automatically - thus exposing them to ground fire, or make them opened by the player - this would mean players could fall until just above the ground and open their chute at the last minute...
is that realistic waiting till the last minute? and in BF2 you cant do that
That was my thoughts. I'm doing this for FH0.7...
In real life paratroopers were exposed to ground fire as they were paradropping, it may be safer and more stealthy to wait til the last second to open your chute but not realistic at all. ANd it is very difficult to hit someone as they come down with their chute open unless you are almost right under them so balance is not an issue IMO.
Difficult with a rifle, not an mg42. But yes, make the chutes open. If this was regular I would say no to make it more fun, but this is FH and the whole points is realism.
Auto. I don't want to spawn in the air, then forgetting to open the chute and become blandfärs on the field.
Mr. Cheese, you musn't make the chutes be opened manualy, paratroopers never had such a possibility so it would be totally unrealistic!:nodding:
i think you should try and make the junkers a mobile spawn and maybe make the paradrop area an uncap base?
The problem with the Ju52s as mobile spawns is that they go outside the map - they fly round and round in one big circle so if you spawned when they were outside the map you would die. The paradrop area is already an uncap base...
make it so the circle isnt out of the map thing (forgot what its called) a thin little line so of you spawn just wait any one understand?
