Hi guys! I'm doing an updated version of Cretan Village for FH 0.7 and I would like some suggestions for what I should change. Here's a list of changes I've already made/am in the process of making: 1 - smaller playing area - the top route to the AA Battery is now out of bounds and you can't get through even if you drive! 2 - new mini map: ingamemap5sh.jpg 3 - only 1 dog barking! (although the whole sound's screwed up at the mo) Some other ideas I had - not neccessarily all to be used together: 1 - Swap the Kubelwagen for the new civilian car (2 seats instead of 4) 2 - Add a civilian car/truck at the British checkpoint 3 - Lock the Vickers light tank so the Germans can't use it 4 - I'd still like to add random uniforms for the Germans if the code is working 5 - maybe add some clumps of grass (see the screens of the new Pegasus Bridge in the FH news archive) and wires over the streets in the village (see the screenshots of my Anzio map in the map show off thread in the mapping forum) Any ideas/comments would be great, Cheers! :)

Heheheh, maybe some custom Cretan village houses to add to the atmosphere on the map :naughty: *runs away*

Well I seem to recall that you made some pretty amazing models for that Arnhem map... You're welcome to make me some nice Cretan buildings :D :p You can run but you can't hide!

Maybe add 2 or 3 105's for the brits in grid B-6. It would give them some fire support and would give the german Stuka's another target.

Oh yeah, I thought about locking the Stuka kit too so only Germans could pick it up... (not sure about stealing it off a dead body though).

i like the idea of the clumps of grass.. you'd have to skin it with a dry color though, so it wouldn't look out of place. i think your map should replace FH's crete sometimes.

Or help get the Crescent off the Mosque. ;)

I was thinking the Junkers Ju 52's should allow the Germans to jump at any point along its flight path. The flag in the town with the Mosque seems to take forever to capture. A Matilda for the Brits as well. They really seem out gunned a lot. Also does the Ack Ack have any affect on the Junkers carriring troops? I see people trying to shoot them down all the time, and no one is sure if it has any real effect on troops landing or not.

This map is great!!!!!! All FH maps hould be like this one! Planes flying,shots,and all that ambience!!!!!!!

Cretan is my favorite FH map. Honestly, I like the idea of civilan cars, but I think what I want most is the ability to play the game in single player 'instant battle' mode.
