Hi, I'm french, so excuse me if I make some mistake with english language. I try to read all the thread about FH2, but, in uncertainty, I post a thread about the DAK equipments and uniforms. I'm found off Battlefield series, and of course Forgotten, so I want to play with the best FH2 possible. So, I hope this pictures help you about the texture, the equipment, and the history... I'm sure that you're already people who do that, but It's a pleasure for me to post this pictures, and to whrite into FH forum. Svatiska is hide, because I don't know if it's authorize. The first is a DAK jacket with the armband 43, with bayonnet and his carry (bring ?) yellow. An DAK helmet and summer dak helmet, with a dak cap. First aid kit 1941, and binoculars. ak3qu.th.jpg Second, is an other dak jacket with a dak feldmutz, with afrika shoes, and brown dak cartridge pouch. The helmet is an other camouflage. ak29cc.th.jpg Third is an Africa Kriegsmarin, helmet with yellow decal, and other KM items. artctall5ej.th.jpg Next, it's two luftwaffe jacket, with the trouser Ramcke for paratrooper, and the para cartridge pouch. Para Helmet with camo. paratrop3we.th.jpg Only luft pilot, with summer helmet, bayonnet and blue carry (for Africa luft) and luft compass luftak9yk.th.jpg If you want, I've other pictures and details, and very good books about the DAK vehicule (with the British recup) and th eequipments. :cya: 162eRI

Hey! Welcome to the forum.

Woah, those photo's look great. Thanks very much for sharing them. I'm sure they'll be of use to Zero, who's making the DAK soldier model. (It's already almost done though. :))

Very nice pictures.

The German Tropical Helmet and the 6x30 Dienstglas binoculars (<= click to see ingame versions) in your picutre have already been compleated and by looking at your picture, the in game versions are (as always) very realisitc. I cant wait to see what the full soldier model looks like but I know it will be awsome and very realistic.

Woohoo, is that a "only-a-couple-of-weeks-before-we-show-them-in-an- update" almost done, or a "we'll-be-showing-them-before-the-end-of-the-year" almost done?

The thing is, those uniforms are realistic to what they actually wore. For the most part, they threw away the olive green uniforms, or only wore them during the freezing night. Same with the pith helmet. Instead, they used modified Italian uniforms, and private purchase things. The only ones who didn't do this were the Fallschrimjaeger in the Ramcke Brigade, as they had uniforms actually well made for the desert.
