I think the Duplex Drive (DD) Sherman (amphibious tank) should be added into FH and especialy into the Omaha Beach map! Many DD Sherman's took part in the D-Day invasion although many did not make it accross the English Channel due to choppy seas, but some did and took the Germans by surprise because there attempts to develop a similar concept had failed. Red MenaceI dont pay much attention! What do you think?
I think you should start paying more attention. The DD Sherman isn't exactly on the top of their priorities list. Honestly, I don't know why I'm getting into this argument.
ye a DD sherman would be sweet
HI MOM! GUESS WHAT I LEARNED IN SCHOOL TODAY! EXCLAMATION MARKS!
um,no. even if some made it ashore, how the hell do u think it would get up teh draw?
u know where the allies run up the bank, on the far east side? guarded by that one pillbox with 2 mgs and the 2 mg34s in sandbag bunkers. that little thingy is a draw.
even if it got up the draw, how the hell would it move? there are craters soo deep that u get injured if you fall in. i see this working on gold tho, maybe a utah map. but not omaha,
Oh okay I see what you mean! I figured they would just be used for like fire-support on the beach, help the soldiers to the draw and then they would just be abandoned in the charge up. After the beach is secure I dont really think they are needed anyways, up on top just man to man, locked in bitter combat!
