static bodies are unrealistic and cant have ragdollnes. Bodies should show up where ther was Actually fighting, not in random places. Who cares about gore, all you need in the bf2 engiene is the body. Tank wrecks should stay for the duration of the round. Bodies for at least 3 minutes. Im sure there is a way to un-lag this.

question why can the weapon of a dead body lay langer then the body it self is it not posebol to turn the back packs thet lei o the badel field in to dead bodies just a ideer

Bodies and wrecks should be left in the field. And they should be destructable. It may cause seriuos lag though. Something I don't want other gamers too have.

I don't know if it's possible, but maybe the best solution would be to make them not have a time limit (and destructable as well) but adding a limit to the amount of corpses in-game at the same time, so let's say that for instance, you make the limit be 32, then only whenever a 33rd body is added the first one disappears. With a time limit, you could still have lag if many people dies at once at some point in the game. Anyways, I'd still like to have some static bodies, those could be staged to have more interesting death positions than regular corpses.

Some static bodies would be nice. Instead of having just the kits show when someone dies it would be cool if the body stayed instead. Vehicles should stay longer. But I'm sure all this would lag the game even more. I just wish that when you got hit with something heavy you would have a limb blown off or be blown into pieces like DOD beta1. If I'm hit by a mortar round dead on I should see myself (and parts) flying through the air. I really miss that.:( Head wizzing across the streets of Caen. Oh and the camel should be dead like the cows. They are a bit silly the way the are now.

Dee-JaýHmm, while I don´t usualy support excessive gore I do think it would make things a bit more realistic and dramatic to have player bodys remain on the battlefield for a little longer (up to 30 seconds maybe). Its basicly the same with tank wrecks. You don´t want those to dissapear after 10 seconds. You want to see that there has been serious fighting...

and i wanna use destroyed tanks as shields

OldschoolI think he means placing static dead bodies around the battlefield, not having player's dead corpes remaining on the battlefield abit longer, although that would be kinda cool, but would cause some lag/performence issues.

Yeah,less in some maps like El Alamein and more in maps like Omaha or Stalingrad. The corpses I mean is the same of the cows. And by the way.You kno that kits on the ground in strange places of the battlefield like the Garand and the Sniper on the left of that glider in Gold Beach?Near that abandoned kits may have a body. Death positions? Nice!Should be funny if in some maps in some trees have the bodies of parachutists,like in MOHAABreakthrought in Sicily,that man stuck on a three.
