I am not sure how it is going to be done. But it would be nice to see tons of them. Lets say, bridges, radar, radio, factoriez

Well in Bf2 there are a nice few things able to blown up and destroyd, but the thing is that, too much will cause problems like lag because of all the extra coding because the stuff will not be static then, it is a directly afected object, i think thats the problem anyway.

I thought that in BF2 they had it so all of the buildings if not a good majority of the buildings were destructable/semidestructable. And it caused lag, not to mention noobs could just sit around blowing up buildings and then there would be nothing. I thought this is why they got ride of alot of destructables. I am not talking about 200 objectives on one map. Just like 7 or 8. Something to keep a sapper going for the whole map. Also, for the engineers to repair and guard.

Also, im not talking about useless stuff. I am talking about stuff that keep the opposing team running. Destructables should help for the cause. Like I said, blowing up a factory will limit the opposing teams tanks, or totally eliminate them unless repaired.

It would be a nice feature but im not sure if u could easily blow up a whole factory, maybe a motor pool or something, like u blow up a garage type building and a few surounding vehicals and u stop the spawning of some vehicals for a period of time, but big stuff would cause way too much lag but certain smaller buildings maybe.

I like this idea, but it would be hard to implement correctly. As far as I know quite a few FH maps will have ABC code, so spec op forces will be pretty much SOL on such maps. Next to that I’m not keen on having people “in my base killing my d00ds” because they want to blow my stuff up without interference. And don’t forget artillery, I wouldn’t want to be playing a game, only to have some punkass pixelaimer destroying all our vehicle(spawnpoints) with a single volley. So I’m not sure this is feasible, I’m not a fan of inconsistencies, “No you cant enter this base and kill my tank factory because there is abc code.” Or “Yes you can destroy this tank factory but a zillion 105 shells wont do the job” I wouldn’t mind having some objectives outside the main bases though, such as a forward spawn point, tied to the condition of a certain structure that was garrisoned (a la Company of heroes) before. If you destroy the house the place stops being a spawnpoint, but pioneers can restore the spawnpoint by applying some sort of repairs/deployed thingy. These locations would be pretty much pre determined, this would allow for some dymanic battles, and give spec ops a place. For the sake of gameplay, huge stuka bombs and arty shelling wouldn’t do the job, because that would be too easy.
