As i said i can deal with the enemy capturing vehicles in the field after they have been abandoned. Just for your information, i dont drive tanks. and if i do its only to give it to a more competent tanker. Its not "my tank" at all. I dont like to drive them.

The Dev's for this mod not intend to have players speeding for the enemy's home base to wait and camp out there for thats side's most powerfull vehicle at the beginning of the game. You dont play the game as its suppost to be played imo. It could even be called an exploit in my eyes. There are exeptions of course when you end up in the enemy home base my accident?¿ Heading there for the sole purpose alone of stealing is just wrong! you are not suppost to do that, it upsets the balancing inherent in every map. Im talking homebases people, homebases...

terminal-strikeThe germans did use captured b-17s though. Locking out the heavy tanks I guess isnt that horrible of an idea though since it could preserve balance better.

That makes sense, I've seen an Fw190 with American insignias on google somewhere.

Na they were used for some covert missions as well, such as dropping in spys, recon, and such in enemy territory.

I'm for it. It is realistic, it wouldn't harm gameplay and the n00bs wouldn't be able to sneak into your base, steal your goddamn tank and then camp with it.

If they would lock all the uber tanks when they spawn in the home bases, that would be great. If they were to be abandoned on the field they should be fair game. But the problem on these here forums is, probably a good part of the people that are strongest against this messure probably have uber tank stealing as thier main "tactic".

Wrong again Raptor. I know it is easy to make sweeping generalizations from behind a computer screen, but most of us feel it is a valid part of gameplay and that tales of entire rounds being lost due to a stolen KT are wildly exagerrated.

Valid or not, i guess that depends on the person you ask. There arent any rules against doing it. But i thought this was suppost to be a realism mod. I doubt that the allied powers would use a captured KT or tiger in combat. Its just stupid that it happens in the game itself. Since you are doing something the devs didnt intend you to do. Capture equipment in the field, fine. But a homebase.. come on. equipment is placed there for a reason. Im speaking out of personal experience, i have seen rounds lost due to captured KT's and tigers. Maybe you were lucky enough not to have had it.. meh.

In close game a stolen kt can make the difference and I'v seen this happen. I am generally against locking vechiles but I think that locking out the super tanks is reasonanble. I think this is espically true on a map like berlin where if the germans steal the IS-3 the russians can have a vastly harder time breaking out. On larger maps its not so much of a issue though.
