I don't think that from the poll results we can say that most of us want to keep the strong/complex vehicles to be unlocked to the enemy. Now we don't know what the rest of the FH community that doesn't participate on this forum thinks of it so we need identify the community as the FH players that participate in the forum. IMHO this part of gameplay is something that fits better in a unrealistic Vanilla BF rather than in a realistic Mod like FH. I'm against the fact that this takes the fun from the game because for some realism is fun and if you ever want to use a tank or a certain type of tank that is complex/locked join the team that has it then. Also I think if it's possible a research should be done in the real battlefields to see if a certain side used or or not captured enemy vehicles so you lock/unlock them in the right maps.

This is my favorite, since it is actually in the same post as the quote at the top, and clearly contradicts the poll info, which is the only evidence (admittedly sketchy) we have, one way or the other. Wow you can quote! As has been said repeatedly by people in here, stolen/captured equipment was used extensively by all major combatants in the war. The argument that a Russian driving a Tiger isn't realistic simply doesn't fit with reality, but thanks for coming out. Unfortunately for all those who think FH is a democracy, the devs have made it clear they won't be locking vehicles in the future. Thank god.

Any team that cannot take out a stolen KT or Tiger I, and loses the map is pathetic and doesn't deserve to win. These tanks aren't any deciding factors in games. If that were the case, the Axis would own in every map these vechicles appear in. And don't tell me that they do already, because that is an excuse for incompetence. If you're an Axis or Ally and can't drop a KT then you don't understand the weapon or its weaknesses.

Couldnt agree with you more...its quite annoying to read a nub spamming, "OMG THEY STOLE THE KT" because his dumbass bailed out of it..Kt's and tanks like that only decide the outcome of matches when there are a bunch of unskilled people playing. Anyone with half a brain can find a way to take them out...so as far as stealing vechiles goes, i see no need to lock them out to enemy forces..now if you were talking bout locking them out to my own team, i would be all for that....i CANT STAND when some nub jumps in my tank upper gun and sprays ammo everywere at nothing...

Ok these can be deciding factors in game, because when the other team has it they have the stolen vehicle AND all there regular stuff.

If a skilled driver has stolen a good tank, then its not so easily just 'taken out' , just as its not when used skillfully by the other side. Stealing is mostly significant on the smaller maps like berlin- so a case could be made for locking, say the IS-3 there.

Regardless, I am against locking vehicles except maybe in a few cases. As somone's pointed out FH isn't locking anyway, so its all a moot point.

But I don't think anyone parachuted into an enemy base and "just" drive off with the best vehicle. So much for realism. I can't understand you're against that. So if someone stole your teams heavy tank and started basecamping you, you'd just say "oh well, I'll just keep dying until the next round begins"? I doubt that. I mean, trucks 'n jeeps, ok, infantry weapons ok, but intentionally stealing vehicles at home bases is just sad.

In the fields it would be acceptable. But then again, so often have I seen people bailing out of a perfectly well heavy tank to kill that infantry around the corner. Offcourse, if someone bails out at all, such a player won't have much skill overall. He gets whacked, the enemy steals the heavy tank, and there ya go. That's why all enemy vehicles need to be locked. It's not just for me, but also for your sake.

IRL, people didn't just dive into abandoned tanks, spin them around, and start firing at the retreating enemy. The Russians and Germans (or anyone else for that matter) did not capture these vehicles in the heat of battle, but after taking posession of the battlefield. The loser of the battle could not recover them, or capture any for themselves. So if you take posession of a flag, or someone abandons a tank in mid-field, vehicles should be up for grabs. But you can't posess an uncap base, so you shouldn't get to 'capture' stuff there.
