The thought of some idiot , like the tards that spawn in & immediatly start TKing their teemies or those tards that go to a server just to thrash it, completely in charge of if we win or loose gives me the heebeejeebees.:smokin:

EXACTLY! The more you give him tactical influence the more your team actually depends on him to win and if we're dealing with an... imature-someone the whole team is basically lost. But if there are no real toys to mess around with; just strategic stuff (if an inventory system of vehicles etc is worked out it could even be sensibly randomized if there is no commander) what annoying child will still want to be a commander? Wait...that IS a retorical question :p

Another good side-effect would be that it would keep away kiddys. After all few kiddys want to stare at a respawn timer for one minuit while everybody else is in the midst of the action.

yes we do. unfortunately a lot of suggestions are only useful in the context of what the engine can be coerced into doing.
I appologize about being balligerant in the previous times I've posted, but the two things I had to say I feel very strongly about.
How about mortar strikes to replace the arty strikes? Dangerous to infantry but not so much to vehicles. Also that kinda seems to work like mortar's do. Correct me if I am wrong, of course.
