Could the camo net covering the trench infront of the 88 (highlighted in red in pic below) please be removed as it seriously obstructs the view of the 88mm please? screen002tr4.th.jpg View from the 88: screen003se3.th.jpg and just a little off topic: What the hell is with this Mortar (highlighted in red), it spawns intially for the Germans, despite it being a British 3inch, and its facing the wrong way! :Puzzled: screen004uh2.th.jpg

Lol I've often wondered why the supposedly professional German Afrika Korps would place an obstruction blocking view of the road from their best defending gun... :p

The mortar has been placed there by the SAS to annoy the German defenders and provide fire support for when they eventually take the ridge.

I think most of the obstacles were placed like this to prevent the raping of another flag/outpost.

You sure about the Mortar, Jimmy? I thought I saw a Grenatawerfer at some point. You need to remember that it basically will be whoever caps the flag first defines the static piece, since they aren't ever fully taken out. Also that cammo net does not block the 88 from a flag (unless you can somehow hit the brit main, good luck). Perhaps just some more wood planks to give overhead cover.

This would be great if it could be implimented. As it is now, you can't see squat, it's not until a tank is right on-top of you that you can see him.

Agreed, that damn camo net is horrible, as it blocks the EXACT direction that British tanks come. The only way to shoot is to wait for them to shoot and hope that you catch the flash, aim at it, and fire, hoping for the best.... It REALLY needs to be removed.

that thing definitely need rework or else it's almost no use...and it turn out that there are only 2 pak38 defending tanks from that direction, the shieldless 88 at the back area forced to fire at short range, which is rather bad for a 88 gun which such a poor rate of fire.

The problem with the cammo netting and the 88s ... is the cammo netting over the 88s. This renders them useless as AA weapons, except to take down the occasional very low flying plane. And the netting, of course, doesn't provide any camouflage whatsoever - the planes know exactly where the gun is, and can certainly kill it quickly enough, but the 88 can't defend itself from medium- or high- angle air attacks. This is a problem on Mareth Line, as well.
