Hi,

I know this has been brought up for enemy vehicles (they should _not_ show up on the minimap if this is at all possible) but is there a way to have artillery/AA show up, whether it's occupied or not?

I don't know how this could be done, but I think it gives a pretty nasty advantage to bomber pilots, especially Stukas, if they know exactly which of three AA guns in a group is manned. Those of you who enjoy Crete, Kasserine and other maps know what I'm talking about.

I think its possible, in PRMM (project reality minimod) a vehicle shows up as occupied regardless if someone is actually in there or not. I'm not sure if you have to get in first to enable this, but i believe so. I hope its possible to shield enemy defences from the oppositions uber radar so that they cant see where it is, occupied or not,

Pilots didn't know which AA was active and which was not. Not alright by me.

Could FH make the icons for AA, AT. and MG sites very small? Maybe if it was just a dot it would be difficult to even see on your minimap. I'd also like to see random spawn points for AT guns. After a few rounds everyone knows where they are and its fairly easy to take them out.

Well most pilots did tend to fly alot higher than they do in FH so they didn't know the location of ever individual flak piece on a map. If pilots want to focus on taking out AA, I think it's fair for them to have to visually spot the AA first instead of lining up with a minimap icon that tells them exactly where it is.

They have no trouble spotting occupied tanks or mobile AA and those are always random.

And minimap dots, like mg emplacements, aren't that hard to see.

I don't know how its coded by if you made the dot the size of a . it could be harder to pick out on a zoomed out map.

Pilots didnt know where the flakk was, and even if they did, they wouldnt go trying to strafe them all. My point is, the pilots had no clue where the flakk was. Especially since there was probably more flakk guns shooting at them.

Were planes actually ever used to take out flak guns ? Sounds like suicide to do it. (except for high altitude bombers of course) Id'd say no vehicles/statics etc on the mini-map anytime. Might be harder to learn and find one but hey I don't mind :)

MacGyver, you can find plenty of gun camera (the camera on most US planes and some other aircraft that automatically filmed when the pilot pulled the machine-gun trigger) footage of fighter-bombers taking out flak towers, AA positions, whatnot. A bit of googling should help.
