I have worked the suggestions of the original fantasy map thread down to the posters' favorite suggestions there. Pick the one you would most like to play

Please only choose other only if Absolutly nothing listed catches your eye

Tough choice, invasion of Japan, England, and the US all sound fun. I guess I have to choose invasion of America just because it could be a nice change of flavor from fighting in the pacific or in Europe.

i would go with America myself but i dont think the devs would do anything unique with it like new aircraft or new buildings(Statue of liberty if was NYC or whitehouse or something) Japan would be nice to play and they could just reskin German jets to make it a cool map.

the germans made it close to moscow (very close) but they never actually made it into the city and were too weak to do any real fighting by the time they got close to the city

It was a close one between Sealion, Downfall, and America. I said no to Downfall because IMO the Japanese will have enough beach landings to defend against. Between Sealion and America it was obvious: I'd rather defend NYC (pretty please!? American city fightin!) with my trusty M1 carbine and Shermans than defend England with a No. 4 and Mk VI tankettes. Also Sealion's been done before, I think the version was for 0.67, but anyway IMO it was kind of boring.

Suit yourself. Sealion would own - battered Tommies using even more battered equipment, firing Bren guns out of cottage windows... the ultimate battle for survival. If I ever learn to map I'll make a series of maps set around a ficticious British campaign. Battle of Redhill, anyone?
