I've been advised (by an unknown source) to upgrade my FAT 32 to NTFS on my home XP, I want too know from people who I can trust!

Yes - Upgrade to NTFS, which provides both file and folder security

Well it seems that I have no choice but to (stay with) NTFS, yes on a closer inspection of my hard drive, it seems that I never ran with FAT32! Ah well I'm an idiot! :(

Yep, NT File Systme is for more efficient and provides support for larger drives, unlike FAT.....
