Surprised no one has tried to make a mini-mod for BF:V, featuring only the Pacific maps. Even if FH won't be porting completely to BF:V, a BF:V mini-mod would probably still be very popular, and might generate added support for the BF1942 version, as well as drive up excitement for the BF2 version that will follow.
no.
imagine how long it would take to rework all the animations. and an engine designed for jungles would really only work for the pacific...

Actually I have... tried... Didn't really work out the way I planned, and it was quite a lot of work.
Really? Despite having most, if not all, of the animations and weapons models already available? I'd figure the only thing that needed to be changed is the spawn loadouts, and the weapons damages.
Hail of Nails, there is already an official mod for BF:V with the pacific maps from BF1942.
It sucks.
I know there's the WW2 mod for BF:V. I just figured since it had all of the same Pacific stuff as FH, like Garands, Arisakas, Chi-Has, etc, it wouldn't be much of a chore to change the damage and armor values to those of FH, and change the loadouts a little, and then we can play the Pacific maps in BF:V, with actual jungles.
