A boy had this idea on FH2 suggestions thread and everyone sayd a big and loud NO! But I have an idea. How the POW camp may be: A place at night with as ambience sounds dogs barking,an alarm and plane engines. The map may be medium or large,anyway. The germans may have a main building with all that things and a place with cells and inside that cells may have some brit,american soldiers as static objects on foot,sitted down etc.... Outside may have a a large wall with shot marks,but no blood.... German may start on a flag on the top of the building that must be capped by 3 men and other flag if is needed.Allies start on a flying C47 and have paratrooper kits.And the other details I don´t know.... I don´t if I posted in vain,but,isn´t the worst idea I had.... If someone have any other map suggestion or suggestion to add in this map,don´t get ashamed.If you start getting flamed,you will not be alone....They will do with me too....

I actually think thats not a bad idea. Make it like a multiplayer objective map. The final objective of releasing the prisoners. Two ideas. Los Banos for the Pacific or the one that Patton's son in law was in.

Not a bad idea, but ONLY and ONLY if you can get it on an historical context. Btw fritz am I wrong? but I think that galland was that pilot who got shot down while he had champagne in his plane and was going to a party? (he didnt die)

Well,I was thinking in a german map,but should be interesting a japanese POW camp.Never saw one...

The idea of a prison raid would be interesting, but only if the prisoners were non existent. For example, the objective would be to just reach the POW cell. To have an objective that requires leading the POWs out of the camp would be hard; so many things would go wrong on a public server, from POWs being smacktards and causing the mission to end for the Allies to the Germans outright executing the POWs.

Freeing prisoners would be tough to code but we can still do the POW camp and change things up a little bit say Allies have to retrive or destory important information taken from POWs

I also i think it would be cool to have the German armory with French and maybe even some Chzech weapons seeing as rear troops were often times armed with these.

I was inspired in CS (that Mansion level) that have hostages... MMmmmm... It could be like this:you as allied have to jump from the plane,get the flag,open the cells and kill all germans.As german you must obviously defend the flag. It should to germans only one Flak 88 or the normal flak that if is destroyed can´t respawn anymore.The cell doors may have a lock and when you shoot at this lock,the cells open.If this scheme is to hard just cap the flag.(Everybody knows that if Allies take the flag later they will release the POW´s.) The POW camp entry may have that guard posts with MGs,barbed wire and that thing that closes and open the way....

I was thinking of having some commandoes on the ground already, hell even 1 or 2 partisan classes.

Is it possible to have two different types of objectives? For example, could you have a door to a cell block or a gate to a fenced-in area that needs to be blown as well as a flag (one that you can't spawn at) that needs to be captured? That would do two things; first, it would give the Germans an early warning system so some guy couldn't just sneak around the German lines and blow the objective. Second, it would give the Americans an incentive to actually capture and hold the prison entrance (like they'd have to do if they were really releasing prisoners) instead of just sending suicide bombers down there until the objective was blown. The flag could influence ticket bleed just enough to give people a reason to want to hold it, but not enough to where holding the flag all game instead of blowing the objecive is an option.

Or, you could make it so that the objective is only accessible when that flag is captured, sort of like on push maps where non-frontline flags are surrounded by a barrier.
