Alright, listen up. I dont like the barbed wire currently in FH, its not realistic, and is basicly useless.

I propose that the barbed wire in FH2 actually works in the way it did in real life.. Now i know there are several kinds of barbed wire, but they all had the same function, hamper infantry movement, not "inconvinience" them by taking 20% health and slowing them down slightly for a second. Barbed wire should be practically impassable for infantry, and basicly not hurt them much unless its of the razor variaty, and even then it should take minutes, not seconds for players to die.

I think this would make things more interesting, and more realistic. The brits needed TANKS in wwI to pass german barbed wire.. now in wwII, sappers, or pioneers should be able to blow it up. BUT, normal infantrymen should be stopped dead in their tracks by it.

I agree. Hedges should also be like this.

Agreed, both hedges and barbed wire should work like this. However the only flaw in this would be that one couldn't use the real life tactic of one person letting himself fall flat on top of the barbwire so his comrades can jump over him, after which they grab him by the ancles and "pull him up' to the other side of the barbedwire.

But these hedges should not kill since it was nearly impossible to even step into most of them. Basically, there should be very fiew types of hedges that are passable, also they should stop tanks, these were (and still are!) the toughest hedges in Europe ever!

But never ever kill! Sometimes they don't even aloow to "acces" them, they just consist of too many plants growing and mixin with eachother. Also soldiers were wearing tough uniforms that would protect them from most of these plants.

I do believe McGibs said there is going to be a "Sapper" class, so there would be one fuction for it. You could also use their wire cutters as a nasty weapon if you get in close enough;)

Also, on the topic of Hedgerows, perhaps the devs could include on Bocage (not a big priority, just a thought) those big metal cutters (whose names have slipped my forgetful mind) that the Allies slapped on the front of a couple Shermans. I realize only a couple were built, but it would be kind of cool if they could charge through the hedges and clear a path.
