It seems to be about the same recoll as when I've fired the American Thompson M1 they used in WW2. Although, once you get used to firing it and realize you don't hold the trigger down for long, it's well effective up to 100 yards. It is a fair amount of recoll, but it's a fun gun to shoot. It has such an authoritarian voice. Although the German's 9mm MP-40 is smooth as silk to fire, it just doesn't have the stopping power of that 45 cal Thompson. :nodding:

With the Americans the M1 carbine could also be nice way to limit SMG's a little. On some maps, give the officers Carbines and assault troops the Thompson.

Lobo;4260351dolphin diving has not solution in BF2

How about a firing delay? You hit the button, then it fires a short bit later. Or some manner of oveaheat? Dolphindiving MGers are a problem. I tried it the other night on Sfakia and it's scarily effective. You just dive and spray and with the ROF of the MG34, you kill EVERYTHING, immediately.

I sure hope so.... also can't wait for the sten and the greasegun. Sexy guns but not as destructive as the thompson. Is there no random kit spawn? (one of the best things about spawnable kits) cause i wish the assault class thompson was 50/50 with 20 round mag -or- 50 round drum.

The drum is what makes the weapons spam machines.

Divejutsu is also very effective at Operation Hyacinth. I use it with terryfing results. Someone must put an end to this!

Not So Civil Engineer;4248505 As I said, we seemed to have no problem learning how to throw grenades through small windows and bunker slits without crosshairs.

yea but the small windows or bunker slit usually fills up our screen so its easy to aim. its easy to now where the hole is although if im not sure i use my rifle crosshairs or ironsight to point wer my nade is goin
