Doesn't matter to me anymore, I'm done playing FH2 until Normandy is released. I just played a game of Sfakia that was completely ruined by lame a** spawn killing. As soon as you spawn as German, you get shot by some punk who is just camping the spawn point... not enjoyable at all. BF2's poor gameplay transitions, with everything from movement to switching to and from ironsights, has really turned me off to FH2. While with the bf1942 engine, your character moves like he is just an extension of your body, moving your BF2 guy is like trying to running around with 50 pound brick tied to your legs... it just one giant uphill struggle. I just can't stand the BF2 engine... it seems like there is absolutely nothing you can do with the damn thing. Everytime people recommend something that could easily be done with the bf1942 engine, the response is always that we can't do that with the BF2 engine. I want to congratulate and thank the dev's for making fantastic models and maps, and for spending all that time coding, but I have to say that you guys picked on hell of crappy platform to work off of. If I had a say in the matter, which I know I don't, I would say that you should do more work with FH1. Why stop a good thing, when it can be made even better?

Sfakia needs redesigned so that the Allies can NOT get into the mountains at all, or it becomes a spawnkilling game. That's no fun for anyone. I find that situation makes a full server dwindle down to 20 players.

You might very well think that

They could just extend the basecamp zone on the mountains right down to the foot of the hills.

Funny, I've never encountered this problem in Sfakia.. I've seen people trying to get to the mountains but germans seem to be spawning so scattered that they never make it, at least long

There is a 3d ironsight, it just looks 2d.

I disagree with you. This sight is strange compilation between 2d and 3d, but the main picture is 2d graphic. it looks like xww2/bf1942 iron sight, but xww2 sight has more realism than fh2 sight! When i spek for 3d sight I mean it has be done may be like BGF iron sight.

Never had that problem either. But then again the scope gives me a much greater advantage than those with out.

I also now sort of agree with those saying that that map Is the easiest map for sniping it rates up there with Bardia. Was using it as a practice map the other day for distance shooting.

a defensive line of machinegun and sandbags on the top could also be put there... so the allies (if they teamwork) can easily take out germans swarming the mountain... IMO "anti base camp" zones are lame.. I mean... an invisible force-field that kills you - why? - because players are too lazy to defend the area.. they think its "boring" to just defend the "dropzone" or "insert point".

If you think defending the attackroute is boring, then dont whine when that attack-route gets attacked, its up to you, not to some god-like anti-german force-dome....
