Hey Guys just a thought... knowing the mutual respect the devs of POE2 and FH2 have for one another perhaps they could work out an agreement to share their work. Obviously both mods are set during different time periods however I was just checking out some of the newer work over at POE and they do have a lot of historically correct buildings for the eastern front. POE devs produce some quality work and it would be a huge boon to FH2. In terms of what FH2 could provide, if they were to turn their attention to the eastern front they could share new tree mods (look how nice the new trees look in this release!) and vegetation. Also the one glaring visual flaw in POE2 are the player models. Here FH2 could share the german head model and the new russian head model that they would produce anyway. Again just some thoughts, I'm a long time lurker here, and this is the first time I've had an idea that was worth posting. ( at least I hope it was worth posting)

I believe POE2 is opposed to cooperation with other mods, a few of their members have said they like to make everything themselves. FH in the past has traded with other teams however.

POE2 and FH2 have be collaborating on technical information and tools since almost the start. A good number from each mod hang out on IRC together in private channels, and we have a shared forum. So I guess the answer is "we already do."

Awesome. Are POE2 still opposed to model-swapping?

It would be FH2 can use the new sound code of PR (i know, not the same as POE2) but in PR the sound has been edited. Now you can hear if gunfire is close to you or not.

pr is a part of Blacksandstudios i think they won´t share code or anything else with fh, as they share content within bss.... and afasik the fh devs won´t join bss.....

Oh well, at least some info sharing is better than nothing at all. You guys could probably swap stuff well with BF Korea, seeing as how their conflict is relatively close to WWII and uses similar equipment (albeit updated to an extent).

First thing I noticed right off the bat is that FH2 and PoE2 have the exact same german radio commands :P Give or take the radio static. Was curious to why XD but, as for PoE's models...ehhh. their buildings are somewhat lacking imo to be honest. One of their maps has a really nice feeling to it and I got a feeling 'so this is what FH2 europe' will feel like, but not much besides it :P
