Somebody must redo that Stalingrad where ruskies must cross the river and attack german positions from FH1!! I always remember when I first played that map, it was so intense when you landed and mg fire poured down on us killing almost everyone. Ohh the memories...

I have never seen that Pavlov's House, what version was it in? I started playing somewhere around 0.6 or something. But I never have seen that map before Niebler posted it here.

When the time is in for Stlingrad, there should really be two maps, one with the storming over Volga and then one with heavy streetsfights.

Fulke;4244224When the time is in for Stlingrad, there should really be two maps, one with the storming over Volga and then one with heavy streetsfights.

maybe there should be different phases as different maps,

phase 1 , the germans attack from the outskirts with air support (STUKA!, but please not add AA guns and fighters...the soviet airforce is suppose to be beaten by "offmap" german planes...) and everything, the russians have difficult live but still some tanks and so.

phase 2, epic street battles, where the germans have an advantage

phase 3, across the river! but i think this is not going to be popular...

phase 4, the final Winter battles that signal the death of the german army in stalingrad, snow and foggy hehehe that must be intense. In this map the Soviet should have advantage such as T34 tanks...and so...

stalingrad if done with only 1 map will be a waste, since the battle is sooo long.

New idea again- I would like to see a Stalingrad map dedicated to either the Red October Tractor Factory or the Grain Elevator. The elevator was huge and both armies fought bitterly for each individual silo. (I think there was 20)

For the tractor factory it should be like a production/assembly line with t34s in various stages of completion with big cranes, forges, lathes and milling machines, Perhaps even molten steel :p Russian tanks would spawn at the end of the line and be driven right into battle.

God that would be sweet!

Why wouldn't the landings be popular? I love them.

I lied, there were way more then twenty! The place was huge... Thats only half! The Germans brought in armor to try and rout the defenders and a wall was knocked down and it was very similar to the scene in Saving Private Ryan where the building collapses and there are a bunch of Germans inside. Well in this instance there was somthing on the order of 1,500 Russians with submachine guns and they swarmed like hornets defending their nest.

Talk about epic! silosf8.jpg
