Everyone, this is what the flamethrower should do.

For those of us who have used the FH flamethrower, you can see that in real life the flame was much wider than FH has made it. I would really like to see the actual napalm jet widened to a realistic point. It feels more like a laser with a slight arc now, rather than a proper flamethrower with a wide dispersal of burning death.

USMA: Some flamethrowers have a sort of adjustable mechanism at the nozzle, similar to a garden hose, while with others I believe it depends on the amount of pressure with which you eject the fluid. If you are cleaning out a room, you'd want it in "spray" mode. Otherwise, in "lance" mode (or whatever it's called.)

Counter-examples to your pic:

I think the FW34 is fine, actually!

my grandpa worked on flamethrowers in korea. ive got some pics of it looking quite similar to the game... btw he said he mixed oatmeal and napalm for the fuel. when you try to get the flames off of you you just smear it on your skin, making it worse. he said its the most utterly horrific thing you can ever imagine. he said he didnt wish that death upon anything on this earth.

I'm never eating oatmeal again as long as I live. Ugh.

The jet is wide on that pic, just narrow close in.

Perhaps adding "two" flamethrowers to the kit might help, like was done with the FG42 and BAR1918. One with a longer distance narrow spread, and one with the wide stream.

:lookaround:

Who says that I am not glad to have it? Sure, I would love an American flamethrower for the Pacific theater, but you get what is given to you. I just am giving my input, thats what this forum is for. Remember?
