Ive seen moments in FH1 and FH2 where a tank is holding down a fort and getting all these kills, no aircraft can get close, and it takes one man in a plane to Ram him and blow him to tiny bits to save your team from total Anihilation. Killing yourself In a Plane is not only effective...but useful

Zybon;4177659It's not really any more cheap than dropping a 250 kg bomb. You guarantee your death for the attempt to kill a tank. Some servers don't allow it simply because the admins don't like it. Maybe they want to promote historical accuracy or they just don't like being killed by planes in general so they restrict them as much as they can get away with. It's only "cheap" in that it is more efficient.

What? How is dropping a 250kg bomb cheap? This statement is stupid. Is shooting people with your rifle cheap too? Congrats on speaking for all server admins who "restrict (planes) as much as they can get away with" though. Making things up doesn't help your argument :)

As for if the enemy planes are attacking your runway, your justification should be in returning the favor and bombing their planes when they're taking off or rearming. After I get attacked on the runway, I make it a habit of constantly attacking their airfield.

Kamikaziing is cheap. It's cheap. It's fucking cheap. The fact that you're defending it speaks volumes. Spawnraping is effective too, as is pixelshooting, spamming enemy CPs with bofors (hey, infinite explosive HE shells, you can rack up the kills on Alam Halfa if you just sit in the bofors and shoot at occupied CPs non stop), and a host of other things that are frowned upon.

Archimonde: That doesn't make sense. No plane can get close enough to bomb the tank, but it can RAM it? On Alam, Mersa, Elamein, and Supercharge there's not one spot I can think of that a tank would be completely safe or sheltered. I challenge you to name one spot that a tank can just sit without being exposed to dive bombers.

Exactly.

It's called speculation, hence the "maybe."

Yea um.. this is irrelevant. The point is that there are many factors that would make kamikaziing the best option.

Kamikaziing is cheap. It's cheap. It's fucking cheap. The fact that you're defending it speaks volumes.

The fact that you need to repeat a statement instead of defending it speaks volumes.

The difference is that those are map and meta issues.
