Would be a nice addition on some kind of British Alpenfestung map - two months after the war ends, the Centurions are just settling in, when word is recieved that a renegade German armoured brigade is attacking some important place with King Tigers and the last heavy armour the Germans have.

But this is, realistically speaking at least 3 or 4 years away - we don't even have North Africa yet, let alone a front which didn't exist ;)

The A41 Centurion would be a excellent choice for a Alpenfestung style map but the Centurion in 1945 should actually look like this

I suggest that anyione who wants this kind of thing look into starting a minimod. Try it, you might find that making the Centurion is more fun than just suggesting it. :)

but they were not put into service untill the early 50s. you might as well equip the americans with the Patton tank.

Ironic that you say that. The M46 Patton was a product improved M26 which entered service in 1945.
