Im aware there are going to be alot more objective type gameplays in FH2. Not sure if this would be at all offensive or not. But heres a idea. Have the axis team set up in a concentration camp defending. While allies try to free the inprisioned by taking out all axis powers. IF this idea is too offensive, then why not make it a POW camp and just freeing american prisoners. Outposts, treelines, mgs, everything else. Could be interesting.
Yes, yes, that would be offensive.
Not sure, it's a delicate situation that's for sure but if done right, it might even be...strange... On the other hand there were no battles over any camp, right?

Battles? Maybe, but certainly not with the prisoners still inside. Raids? Possibly.
Yes 'Battle': battle n 1: a hostile meeting of opposing military forces in the course of a war :p I know, I know, wasn't very clear. What I meant was: were there any (big) encounters between campguards and allied forces? Most camps had been abandoned just prior to allied arrival, no ? But as you said: 'possibly'. :)
While a 'concentration camp' or PoW lager-type scenario is, eh, no comment, I _would_ like to see some sort of objective-type "raid the xyz compound" map.
Remember Kbely Airfield from Secret Weapons? Something like that, just with more commando ninja action, like maybe a fenced-in camp in a forest, whatnot. Kiew (mappack map) is what I'm thinking of, but something in the dark dark night would be kind of fun.
I like when people work off my ideas, rather then saying No thats dumb. Changin things up is cool. I figured the concentration thing would have been a little overboard, but it could make people happy, rescueing these victims. Didnt think it would blow over that well. W/E is cool for you guys.

Yeah that map was great as well as Mimoyecques. I always liked "Objective" gameplay. I think I like it more because there's more purpose to achieve it then cap a flag as it has a physical form and not just the sense of taking an area. Any form of gameplay away from flags will be great :) Though obviously not all maps will work with it...
Objective map? Yes.
POW Camp/Concentration camp? No, it's offensive. My grandad for example escaped from his POW camp when the russians had gone into poland and some of his friends were shot by Germans and Russian fire when they were caught in crossfire (One was even killed in cold blood by a russian who thought that they were German). It's just not a good idea. Concentration camps are far, far worse.
It's not like you would see bodies or people in conditions 'like that'. We're talking about a location here, albeit with a strong emotional feeling to it. But of course I can understand why people would be offended by it :) There are more then enough interesting locations to rebuild, that we don't have to resort to places like those. Still its a nice opportunity to come up with objective implimentations. Stuff like V2 sites, fortresses, factories etc. come to mind. Also interesting would be complementary objectives: where you have to hold 2 or more objectives to take a third for example.
