Hi,

are there any plans for a Gloster Gladiator, or for any pre-1940 French air force planes? They would work nicely in N. Africa/battle of France/invasion of Norway maps.

(Yes I am a masochist who enjoys flying Swordfish.)

Malta: 261 sqn

Middle East: 6sqn 33sqn 80sqn 94sqn 112sqn 127sqn

I agree to the Gloster Gladiator only if we also get the Fiat CR.42 Falco and Polikarpov I-153 Chaika.

Also saw combat with Belgium, Norway, China, and Finland

No. 247 Squadron operated Gladiator Mk.II's during the Battle of Britain, flying from RAF Roborough in the defence of Plymouth.

Oh yes oh yes oh yes! In fact, I'd love to see a Marne/Dinant river bridges map with Fairey Battles being massacred by 109s. I'd even fly one!

I think I'm actually one of the only people who runs for the Defiant on Battle of Britain, hoping I'll get a decent gunner... :-)

I guess they just use the Swordfish as a placeholder.

FH should do a nightfighter map with He-111 and Ju-88 night intruders and Defiant night fighters, especially in FH2 how pilot would get credit as well for the gunners kills.

A early Blenheim night fighter with the belly gun pack would be interesting as well.

Screw credit--I think it's enormously gratifying when my gunner nails an enemy in such a totally impractical plane.

A night intruder map wouldn't even be so complicated--instead of having a starting airfield, the attackers should be able to spawn in circling planes (similar to what you get in a lot of Pacific maps.) The whole spawn-raping of the attacker's airfield that you get in Bombing the Reich is dumb.

That said, BtR is too easy for Allies to win.
