Omaha would be cool for climbing into bunkers... highly unrealistic of course.

Ts4EVER;4513200I think scaling down is not possible, you have to throw them on something above you: you can sclae up, but not down.

Yes you can scale down. For example when you are on top of a static object rock on a cliff or on a rooftop get close to and face the edge. Tap right mouse button with the grappling hook to throw it at the edge, and the rope will fall down, while sticking the grappling hook to the edge. Then just press E and you can slide (you go faster if you hold sprint) your merry way down :D

I didn't know you could sprint while climbing onto the rope.

ooooh me likey. :)

Does this mean we might see a pickup on Sfakia? Its not like there's any places where it could be abused, and there's a few game play elements that would benefit from it. Not only the cliff near the Rear Guard but also the monastery.

Grass ninjas attacking a monastery with grappling hooks.

N24Reporter;4513154It's only a pickup kit or an NCO Kit and that fairs well for gameplay; especially for teamplay! If everyone had a hook we'd be back to the lame vanilla SF gameplay. :)

Nail-head- bang. It's a shame (ahh can't believe I'm going to say this...) - that FH2 isn't built on the BF2142 engine as there are certain kit items that cannot be used by the NCOs until they have X-number of players in his/her squad. This stops every jerkoff, douchebag, and princess turning up at the fight and becoming an NCO just so they can throw a rope on a wall, jes-zoos!
