Dr.FritzAt least lower ranking officers could carry grenades. Someone like a Lieutenent-Colonel or Colonel shouldn't carry some.

You know i dont think it matter what rank you were. All ranks carry gernades in combat unless there out.

what i would like to see is reduced nade damage if u are lying prone. as it is right now i dont notice any advantage of lying prone to standing straight up when having a nade tossed at you. when the nade blows doesnt it blow in a V shape, so lying prone would help u avoid at least some damage?

Hate to say it lads but Caeno has an important point here. What will stop 3 or 4 officers (all on teamspeak for instance), throwing all 4 of their grenades at once? It could turn in to real nade 'spammage'.

what is stoping 3 or 4 close quarters from dooing this now?:p I think that class limitation system would solve this problem so we could have about 2 or 3 officers only.

Don't really care either way, as long as it's well thought through to prevent 'nade spamming (such as having ammo crates have a limited number of grenades, or re-spawn them very slowly in crates.)

In .7 on some maps there are kits that had their grenades removed. I would like to see more grenades and more types.

More grenades would be nade spam. They should be used for clearing positions. Also, I'm against cooking grenades-- that defeats their intended purpose. It really doesn't give the defender ANY chance to get away from a well cooked grenade. At least with grenades the way they are, you could whip one into the building and the player inside would at least have the chance to get away.

Defeate's the purpose of grenades?! Say what?! Grenades are weapons, they are intended to kill not scare away. It is realistic and important for tactics to be able to cook up grenade before thorwing it.

Blast grenade intend to wound to stick the ennemy on one place (this kind of grenade is used for offensive) Schrapnell grenade intend to kill an ennemy (this kind of grenade is used for defensive and cleaning).

too many grenades kills the game. that's the problem.
