i just remembered that BF2 has guided munitions. is it possible for the germans to have guided anti-shipping missiles and bombs like they did in real life?
That would indeed be awesome.. Lets see that condor! (i believe those carried the missle?)
And the HE111. They sank the BB Roma with a Fritz X bomb, I think that would be the most realistic one to get in the mod. Possibly on Rheinuebung, but the trick is it is very hard to aim and does not "fly," it glides and you don't have so much control over it.

i almoast forgot the air to air missles that the germans used. forgot the name and im not sure if it was used in combat.
The Germans didnt use any controllable Air-to-Air missile during the war against the enemy. They tested it yes, but didnt use it opeartional.
Didn't they have guided bombs and torps though? I could've sworn I've heard of something besides the Fritz X bomb, that was radio controlled...
I made a thread about the fritz-x awhile ago and one of the devs hinted that it was being worked on. I assume it was for the Italian campaign that was never done so they didn't have a place for it.

in theory the italian front should come after Africa, my guess is they will do the Eastern Front after Africa.
I should have been more clear, I was talking about Italy in FH1, hopefully we'll see a lot of the mediterranean theater in FH2.

The Hs 293 were frequently used by Condors and He 111s.
Would be interesting in a future version of FH2!
