I did a search on guns in the Pacific and found the fallowing guns for infantry. I will list who used them and the stats I could find: US: Smith and Wesson M1917 .45 Magnum Revolver: Round size: .45 ACP rounds same as colt Clip size: 3 round half moon clips Used by: US solders in early days of WW2, and mostly by Marines. M1941 Johnson Rifle: Round size: 30-06 Clip size: 10 round Magazines/ could be reloaded during firing Used by: US Marine Raiders, and Para Marines till the M1 Garand was in full service. Japanese: Type-44 Cavalry Rifle: Round size: 6.5x50mm I could not find the clip size or type. Used by: Japanese Cavalry Model 97 20mm Anti-Tank Rifle: Round size: 20mm anti-tank rounds I could find no info on how many rounds it could carry. Used by: Japanese in early days of war, but later not used at all due to lack of how effective it was. I also found these Gun inplacements that would be a great add on to that theater in FH: Japanese: Model 96 Howitzer: Round size: 120mm rounds Used by: Japanese in early days pf WW2 Model 96 triple Mount AA gun: Clip size: 15 round clips for this triple cannon AA gun No round size was found. Used by: Japanese Navy throughout the War Please add these guns to the Pacific it would make it so much more fun to have them.
A cavalry rifle? What on earth for?
I think the Pacific needs a lot of spice to catch up with the rest, so the rest are good ideas I assume, don't know them really.
Hmmm... The Japanese used horse cavalry? I believe it, they seemed to take an archaic approach to the early part of the war...

I would perfer just the Johnson Rifle but I thought I should post these just to see if anyone els liked em. And I thought the Cavalry rifle would be a good change off with the rasaka rifle on some maps. The Johnson was the stand-in for the Garand before it was made, but like I said Para Marines, and stuff. Guadalcanal they used Para Marines so a para with the Johnson on Guadalcanal would add some cool tactics for the allies, they would need a plane that could drop em off though. the AT guns for the japanese need to be there. It's the thing I don't like about all these DICE island maps, no AT guns at all for anti-tank duties, just Naval cannons. And that gets old fast, you can't use em on tanks that well, and they are placed so badly on the maps. In real life they were better placed than that, and they almost always had AT guns to take out tanks if they needed to. The AA gun is somthing I have wan'ted in FH for a long time now, no Naval AA guns were used on land, expt the Bofor, but other than that the Japs had that Tri mount AA gun for gound defence duties.
I'd like to see that Remington Shotgun.

Wasn't this the English engineer's standard rifle in 0.5f? Yeah, I liked that one... although you're clearly inferior to just about any other infantry unless on short range. Even a SMG guy would just mow you down. But it sure was fun to play and it looked cool... ;)

Some Filipino-American units used horses in combat on the Philippines until they were forced to eat them.

your thinking of secret weapons dude.
why would we need different rifles and pistols if really the springfield saw wider use in the early war and the transition to the garand is adequate as is. Most of your weapons are limited to a small group, whereas both japan and america are suffering as a whole due to lack of their widely used equipment. For example, there is not 1 japanese artillery piece or AT gun (i did some research and they used a 37mm, dunno what this 20mm is you're talking about), japan just seems so uninteresting because little has been payed attention to them.
The Type 97 20mm anti tank rifle. Since the Japanese only encounter Shermans and not Stuarts anymore, it would probably not make any difference. Maybe against trucks, halftracks, armored cars and maybe Stuarts, but against Shermans I think a type 3 at grenade would be better. http://mailer.fsu.edu/~akirk/tanks/japan/japan-antitank.html http://www.inert-ord.net/jap02h/t3heat/
