I wasn't sure if this was suggested/ implemented/ possible, but I thought that a big thing that would make FH2 much more realistic is that the camera view is actually in the head and not in the neck. I find it quite frustrating to find out that although I thought I was safely hiding, it turns out my whole head is still stiling out, and causes my death. x_x

So anyway, will it be done? :mEk:

Already in FH player sees from player model head, compare it switching beteween fpp and tpp views near some specific texture detail on wall or while standing in the netting.

Trust me, no it isn't. In places where the model's head is clearly not covered by something like, say, shrubbery....I'm blinded by it due to the fact that the view *isn't* in the head.

View is in the head, it's just the fact that sometimes it might be just few milimeters till the edge and top of your head is exposed. But I covered behind walls and stuff like that many times, it's just a players made legend about how bad it is.

actually no its not in the head, in bf1 the camera view is right at the base of the player models neck. if you crouch infront of a sandbag , just peeking over the top edge, then get a friend to take a screenshot or use external view, you see how far your head sticks up above the top edge of the sandbag. also dice themselves have said the camera is at the top of the chest, i forget what the said the reason was for doing so, but it is.

The reason is clipping. You would be able to see through walls or any other object if the camera was in the head.

yeah, basically the player had only a collision box that was about the size of a basket ball located at the center of the model. If you put the camera at the head of the model then the displacement between the player center and the camera center could allow you to poke your camera through walls and stuff.

ChanquadBattlefield 2 view from the head so it will be that way for FH2 aswell[/QUOTE] Nope, you still look from your hip/chest area. Take a character, go on top of a building and lay down, then move forward until you can see over the edge, then look at yourself in 3rd person view.

Yep and only because the game allows the head to penetrate the walls. Dumb but otherwise the collisions would be a PITA and you'd have problems hiding behind/beneeath stuff.
