Hi all, this is something I've noticed since BF, and when I downloaded FH, I hoped that as soon as I've played one, just one map, that issue would've been solved. But no, it remains, untouched. Ever since BF, there had been a 'bug', if you'd like to call it, that didn't really affect (I don't know about you guys) my gameplay, but has made me think: 'Damn EA Games, couldn't you've done something about it?' As stated above, I hoped FH dev would've known better, since this 'bug' makes the game slightly unrealistic (in my opinion). Guessed it yet? Then pat yourelves on the back. If you didn't, well...pat your back as well; at least you tried.;) Whenever I pick up a kit of the opposing team, the helmet/hat becomes that of the opposing team! (Wow, that felt good) Okay, I'm very likely sounding like a geek, but, aren't we all?:p It just doesn't look right! Would it be possible to take this 'bug' off in FH2?

This 'feature' is not present in BF2 nor in FH2. Only weapons and kit loadouts (ammobags, medic equipement etc.) change owner.

Damn, I really need to get a good PC to get these games, and test them BEFORE I humiliate myself. Please, look away now:(

Too bad that the name tags will tell away who you are.

A helmet does not stop bullets, no. It's just schrapnel protection and against other stuff flying around, like rocks and rubble from buildings blowing up. The helmet is also useful for other things, like sitting on or cooking food in.

W00t! Maybe I didn't get too humiliated, at least I'm not the only one who doesn't have BF2 (at least, not on PC, I have it on PS2=p). Not so sure about the helmet not able to deflect shots. I mean, obviously it's useless in FH1, BF, and other wargames (with Medal of honor: Allied Assault as a notable exception.), but just maybe make the shot ricochet in real life.

If shrapnel is going to be added then it would be a good idea but only for the purposes of stopping shrapnel seeing as the chances of a bullet deflecting of your helmet is extremely rare.
