Does anyone know how to remove MSN messenger from their computer? I don't go on it and I thnk it is poooooooo and my cousin signed herself in on it one time and now I keep getting talked at by her little 13 yr old friends who are all 'OMG HE KISSED ME AND I'M WORRIED IF I'M PREGNANT COZ HE KISSED ME OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMOGOGMGOM!!!!!!!!!!111:(' And quite frankly I don't want this bothering me . I've tried various things such as removing windows components and trying to get rid of it that way, the MSN logo doesn't appear in the toolbar by the clock, but i'm still signed in as her coz i get these messages.

Any ideas? Please post in this thread or PM me :).

It doesn't show up in the add or remove programs thingy, I have to go into add or remove windows components and I've already tried that - I'm on Win XP Home by the way. I've tried getting rid of it that way, i've tried un-checking the 'run this when windows starts' and 'run inn the background' thingies, I've tried deleting the messenger folder in program files or wherever it is, but I know that it is interconnected with MS Outlook and IE, so I don't want it to mess either of those up. I tried going to MSCONFIG and then startup to see if i could stop it running when windows starts, but it's not there. There doesn't seem to be any way of getting it off there. Bill Gates wants me to communicate and I don't want to... OMG MICROSOFT SUX! teeheehee...

OK I tried that and I can't seem to find the sysoc.inf file, or indeed the INF folder. I've tried the MSCONFIG thing and it's not on the startup list, so I can't do anything about it there. Thanks a lot for your suggestions, though :)
