I hope these are looked at and possibly removed or tweaked - I hate how u can c other peoples names even if ur camoflauged in a bush ur name will appear and the enemy can kill u. - Jumping, to an extent - ppl jummping a lieing down is so annoying how some1 can jump with a full pack/ammo/and weapon is very unrealistic like 5 times in a row - In charlie grenades exploding in the bunkers are so damn annoying the shake the bunker more than artilery. - When players pick up enemy weapons they take on the look of the enemy, have it so they just take the ammo not their uniform and pack - Better weapon classes the rifle men should have the spring/ or garand have the k43 or mauser optional or g43 - Have a mg class etc not just on certain maps

1. That is a server option. 2. Things like bunny hopping and such will be fixed for Fh2. 4. Edit:Sorry misread first time. I don't know if its possible just to take the ammo also not all weapons use the same type of ammo. 5. Alot depends on when the maps take place also, choosing between the Springfield or Garand would be odd since the Garand replaced the Springfield as the main service rifle for the US.

1. Cant be 2. Will be so sais mcgibs so if its not blame him 3. The first fh was ok but hell bf1942 sucked ass what do you expect 4. I would like to see this 5. Riflemen will have a m1 garand and a bayonet 6. There will be a gunner class

JRawk - Have a mg class etc not just on certain maps

You can usually pick them off the ground in maps where they arent available as a class, on some maps, having a spawnable MG class would result in a poor gaming experience, to say the least.

I think with bf42 there weren't two separate settings for nametags, it was just one nametag distance. Which is a bit annoying, but meh. Hopefully that will change in BF2

Do you really think you are the first to think about these things? Most of these have been discussed a million times.

1. It's a server option. Find a server with low tags and play there if you want. 130th Lehr Server has tags completely turned off

2. As McGibs explained thoroughly so many times, in FH2 one jump will completely deplete your stamina, and you won't be able to jump again until your stamina is full, so no more bunny hopping. Also, the less stamina you have, the higher your breathing will be, and that will cause greater sway of the weapons in Iron Sight mode. And without IS, you won't be able to hit a broad side of the barn

3. Whats wrong with that? I'd personally prefer if you also got sand and dust falling off the ceiling in your eyes and worsening your vision

4. They dont "take on the look of enemy", they dont take the enemy uniform. They just get the enemy helmet with the package. In BF2, this is not a problem anyways

5. Depends on the map, time-period, and mappers discreation. Whatever the mapper chooses, based on the historical accuracy for that battle, is what you get. It's called a "historical accuracy" mod for a reason. You wont get the Springfield if the allied team on that map didn't have it in RL battle. You have to realise that the "riflemen" class (as well as any other class) gets different rifle on different maps.

6. Right... i remember Kharkov Winter when the MG was a spawnable class. Every single German had an MG and the Russians couldnt move anywhere causes there was literally a wall of MG bullets from all directions. In RL, MGs were dedicated squads, not every soldier carried an MG just for the sake of it.

I think nametags can be removed in mods, I asked this question in the project reality forums and the devs of that mod seem to be convinced they can remove them. But I think it should always be a server side option, the FH dev team could encourage servers to use no nametags (at least for enemies) though.

McGibs already explained how the stamina system in FH2 will work (tip: search for posts by McGibs to find lots of FH2 info).

When you pick an enemy kit your helmet and backpack change not your whole uniform. I don't know if this still happens in Bf2, I play it regularly but AFAIK only the weapon changes in BF2.

Weapons will be correct for the timeperiod and production numbers.

Edit: Hydraslav the new forum style functions properly. I know it looks awefull but at least it works.

No, there is a setting for friendlies and for enemies. It's possible to set friendlies at long distance and enemies at very short distance. The problem is that one is called "nametagdistance" and the other is called "nametagdistance(scoped)". From the first glance, it's not clear that there are for enemies and friendlies, and many server admins ignore it. I personally don't know which one is which, but there were many posts here explaining how to setup the server so that only friendly tags show
