it will be most usefull for defensive buildings. houses are not needed. defensive meaning pillboxes, bunkers, etc. as they are pointed against enemy movement, with only small openings, to limit incoming fire. houses have large windows to allow incoming fire.

can also be used to a greater extent in objective based maps. we only have "destroy factory"-maps, it seems (of objective-type). i'd like to see more diverse objective maps, for instance read the thread about norwegian maps, and other maps like it - destroy buildings, bridges, etc, in more than just air-drop. bridges should be destroyable from both above and below (satchels in certain areas of the foundation, for instance).

The first thing that comes to mind is the Brit commando raid on the German radar installation and Dieppe.

Yeah, but I have to be brutally honest. If this feature was ever implemented, I will take cover in a wooden house, rather than a concrete bunker.

do so, but chanses are that then you won't be able to complete your objective (defend bunker, town or whatever). for all i know (maps not available yet :P ) the enemy can then walk right past you, without you being able to take them down.

of course, maps has to be made so that it is favorable to actually use the bunkers.
