The 3inch mortar and Granatwerfer 34 are perfect in their own role (minus smoke rounds), but I would like to see deployable light mortars (2inch and 50 mm). Such weapons were still in use in the early years of the WWII, and the basis of small infantry units tactic were around LMG's and mortars. So it would be nice to have light mortars to get a mobile covering fire (or to clean a MG nest) - as too often some collective weapons are wasted for useless tasks (MG's...). They should have a smaller radius and blast than the medium fix mortars (just a bit more efficient than a handgrenade), of course, and be handled the FH1 way, except without binocs targets, only shells lobed on sight.

The team had problems with including these in the initial version, but they said it will be included in one of the next patches

Speaking of mortars... how do we rearm them in FH2? Even destroying them doesn't seem to help.. :uhm:

Some are in hard-to-reach places like on roofs, in which you can't just park an ammo truck nearby to rearm... or do they have a large area of effect? Never tried rearming that way to be honest.

Ts4EVER;4578182ammo pickup kits.

yes they look like 2 small wooden boxes stacked over another with a rifle (k98/no.4) ontop. most times they are placed close to artillery pieces

Ts4EVER;4578182ammo pickup kits.

sometimes there aren't any of them ...or are very very far away.:uhm:

ammo kits should be more readily available or really have an "storage" place to find them.
