Would it be possible for the DEV team to utilize one of the most critical components of Flight Simulators and joysticks alike- the joystick hat switch? Why is it that i am forced into taking my hands off the joystick AND throttle so that i can hold shift and concurently move the mouse to see around me when i am in the air? Would it be possible to allow the hat switch to move the field of view around when piloting a vehicle? If not, could we at least get the 4 basic views (up, left, right, back)? Its so frustrating to have to cycle through all the views when i want to check my six, examine the damage i caused on a bomb run, etc. Heck, if i could use my hat switch, i wouldnt even care if i was forced to fly in the (edit: fantastic) virtual cockpit view. What do you think?
heh
A good suggestion. I give it 2 months before a Dev reads it and 3 months before a Dev says SDK.
It'd be great if it was doable, but I very much doubt it.
how about this a nondev says its is SDK material or Dice has to fix it, which they won't
