please increase the distance of the panzerfaust. I was playing a map with all kinds of ice on it (forgot the name but it had these soviet sled speeders that could go across the ice).

Anyway, all the axis complained about was that 20 feet the panzerfaust would go before dropping to the ground. The soviets easily won the game because the terrain was open and the tanks would just keep shelling us from a distance.

Please make distance of faust realistic.

Also, a way to move AT guns would be nice. That way they could be moved between buildings or in trees for ambushes.

Thanks!

Squirrel :)

Already fixed in 0.62, though not quite realistic they are much better.

Are there AT guns that can be moved in 0.62?

no, but you can rotate them, and they placed in good tank killing positions. (theyr probly the best AT weapons, small profile, and great damage, you just cant move them around)

a while ago in the other panzerfaust thread it was said that you could only make it either so that it arcs to represent the distance it actually travelled in rl, or you could make it go straight and then after so long (30 meters?) it would disappear. The thing i was wondering was why is it that when you shoot a faust at a 90 degree angle into the air it comes back down w/o smoke trail and then explodes on the ground? or is this already addressed in .62/3?

mcgibs said in another post we can either have panzerfausts be like they are (basically, low velocity mortars on sticks) or have them go straight, but burn up and disapear at 30m. i'd prefer the 2nd option, because that would mean its more in tune with reality, and i can finally destroy a tank with the 30 and be at a distance greater than 2mm.

I dunno. That way, you could be 1 inch out of range of a tank, and not be able to hit it no matter how much more elevation you give it.

The other, like you so eloquently put, you have "low velocity mortars on sticks".

I'm REALLY sorry for bringing it up, but how the RPG7 in DC behaves seems fine to me. (If I remember it correctly, been a while).
