Real-BadSeedi vote for proper gun movement while changing stances and no ability to fire while crawling, including a split second to straighten the gun out in front of you, after you stop crawling. i say BOOOOO!!! to the closing crosshair nonsense!

Agreed! :nodding: Not that we have cross hairs any more with ironsights but the general setup of weapons to prevent unrealistic things such as clossing crosshairs etc. should be killed.

Dee-JaĆ½I don't see the point of discussing crosshairs, if FH2 won't have any. As far as I've gathered, there won't even be invisible crosshairs or anythin like it. The only thing that stops you from having instant accuracy is a weapon sway.

Well I was using crosshairs as a representation of accuracy. Hopefully the weapon wont fire perfectly straight but just with weapon sway.

Oh that reminds me, in Operation Flashpoint if you sprint till exhaustion *GASP* your accuracy suffers for a while due to the heavy breathing.

And in GRAW it takes a split second to fire after stopping sprinting. Prevents sprint-fire-sprint.

Well i was not talking about a cross airs, i was saying if there were none ,like i would like, the movement of the iron sight could work the same way as cross airs do when closing. they move alot than get slower and maybe you might be able to hold your virtual breath to steady them faster like in COD2.

The 13th RaptorOne of the things that bothers me in FH, BF2, and even the "realism" mod for BF2 is that stance changes have unrealistic effects on accuracy. Again, i have no first hand experience with firearms, but common sense gets me a long way. ;)

First of all, when moving into a crouching position from standing, the accuracy should momentarily be less before improving slightly. When moving from crouching to standing, accuracy should also be worse before improving.

More importantly, when moving from standing/crouch to prone, accuracy should be insanely bad during the transition, and last about a second after getting down there. This would stop people from getting a unrealistic advantage in close combat, where they would normally be screwed carrying heavy weapons, all they have to do is press Z and start spraying. The same accuracy loss should be implimented when getting up. I dont see you firing anything when you need to use your arms to get up.

I totally agree. I got so tired of it in FH1 where people would be 10ft away and instantly prone crouch to get better accuracy. IRL, you would be idiotic to do so. What makes it even worse is the glitch where your hitbox dosn't move until your animation is done moving (when you go to crouch, your standing hitbox is still there for a seconds or so)

Another thing is moving at crouch, and being JUST as accurate as being still. Unrealistic, 'nuff said. The one who is ready and aiming should have an advantage over the guy crouched and moving left and rght rapidly.

Edit: Oh yeah thast right I forgot FH2 wasn't going to hav ean actual 'crosshair', but a sircular type thing showing your general aiming point. At any rate, the same problems I listen need to be fixed.
