yea ok with the fireflies but the jumbos are to much if compared.
Arisaka 500 is 1/3 - 1/4 of all produced
That was a total of 500 Tiger I and Tiger II's combined for the whole western front -- not many in comparison to the 30,000+ Shermans.
I dont' mind facing the odd KT in the mod. I guess the average Allied tanker never encountered a KT (but God help them if they did). They were rightly feared and most of those captured in the Ardennes offensive weren't knocked out, they simply ran out of fuel (real fuel hogs apparently -- a logistical pain in the ass)
'[SYN Ace']That was a total of 500 Tiger I and Tiger II's combined for the whole western front[/quote] otherwise the fraction wouldn't make much sense....

doesn't really matter that much. it's already been stated why. americans spread them out, while the german heavies were used where they were needed. they were needed where americans and germans clashed. it's where americans and germans clashed we can make FH-maps (no fun in US vs nobody maps, or similar german maps). where the tigers went, they usually went together.
mostevilValid point, however if you go down that route the "premium" armour needs to be balanced by relatively appropriate numbers for the other side (to preserve realism).
I certainly agree with that. However, I don't think the huge difference in available tanks for each side would be reflected just on the battlefield. It would also show up as more available replacements (you can only attack with so many tanks at a time in a given area. You could reflect this with a nominal Allied numbers superiority, (2-1 or 3-2, depending on how many German tanks are on the map, so you don't lose all your infantry) and maybe have the Allied tanks respawn50-100% faster (don't know if this is done at present)
Also bear in mind alot of american troops used to refer to all german tanks as tigers, not all the reports are trustworthy.
The beauty of it is, we don't have to rely on "untrustworthy" combat reports,(ie. scouts sighted what looks like 6 Tigers at Stouffville) we can access German records, (ie. PzAbt 501, consisting of 2 Tiger I, 1 Tiger II, and 3 PzIVH,was assigned to the Stouffville area) The Germans certainly knew what tanks they had in which locations. You wouldn't use German combat reports to determine where Jumbos should appear, would you? :D
